Day 17/18: Downtime with Family

In route to drop off the 2nd eldest boy to his military base. Monday, we stayed in Clarksville Campground to meet Mike’s brother Keith whom we saw 3 years ago. The Henderson family have 3 kids, and guess who Matt gravitated to? … always the cute girls! This is truly the 1st time we pulled out our Strongback & Helinox camper chairs. We sat down, conversed and visited until the little kiddo got restless.

Tuesday, we drove from the Campground and got to Evans, GA in a decent time. I have to be true to my words … got to cook some Filipino comfort foods. No matter how big they become, when your child prefers your home cooking over anything, there is no greater feeling of accomplishment. My children might look like white boys, but their stomachs are made out of rice, sinigang, pansit and adobo 🙂

Matt be like … it is past my bedtime ????️ but let’s play some more. 🙂

Resting before the guest arrived …
Thank you to Strongback for providing us the most comfy chairs ever. Thank you too, Helinox for providing us the lightest chair ever!!!

Mom at her best …
Well, that is what he says anyways. 🙂

Don’t ask me how much weight I gained after eating these … Lol!
